“ I liked this place. I have not tried a wide variety of the menu but the food I did try was quite good. I ordered dirty rice and shrimp bisque. The dirty rice was okay but it kind of lacked seasoning. The shrimp bisque, however, was great. The meat seemed very fresh. It also came with corn bread, which tasted very sweet. The prices aren't too bad either for what you get. The service was very friendly and prompt as well. It seemed like the second my iced tea and water were gone, she was at my table asking me if I wanted a refill. The atmosphere is more of a bar setting also, which I liked. Overall, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The service was prompt and the atmosphere was laid back. ”

“ One of our absolute favorites. Great food, highly recommend the tenderloin tips and their Mac & cheese is so good. White fish dip is top notch. The gumbo and jambalaya are tasty and spicy. Anything with their signature voodoo sauce is special. Great bourbon/whiskey selection and the martini menu is great. Always love the staff here, it always feels like home ”

“ walked in to place a togo order and fell in love with this place. had my heart set on the voodoo chicken po' boy and it was delicious but a very nice man (owner? manager?) let us try the jambalaya while we were thinking over our orders and wow was it flavorful. definitely recommend this place, the food and service are fantastic. ”

“ If could give this place 15/10 I would. Perfect all around. The service was phenomenal, the vibe is great, and the food was delicious. Our server Kirk was the absolute best and everything came out so fast. We’re suckers for Cajun food and had been wanting to try this place for ages. It will definitely be a regular in our rotation now. We got the andouille crusted oysters, whitefish dip, shrimp and grits (special), voodoo chicken, collard greens, and key lime pie. Everything was phenomenal. ”

“ The food was amazing, and the prices were pretty good for the area. Our server was very attentive. I don’t like spicy food but I had the Voodoo Chicken Po Boy and it was awesome, however next time I’d ask for the slaw on the side. I really liked the sauce they gave to dip the sweet potato fries in. Would definitely come back here. The menu had a lot of signature Cajun/creole options. The Spinach and artichoke Dip app was great too. ”

Customer service the shrimp the whitefish dip (the waitress let me taste hers) i got the berry blossom drop which is like a lemon drop.. I’m coming back for the shrimp and whitefish dip alone. I have no complaints. ”

“ Absolute excellence, I can’t say enough how good the food was. I have been in Michigan for 5 years and this is the best restaurant I’ve had the pleasure to visit since moving. I had the catfish etouffee which was extremely crispy and seasoned perfectly. We asked what was popular and they offered “the taste of New Orleans” with a bit of everything which is not listed on the menu - highly recommend. It has jambalaya, red beans and rice, and creole sausage with slaw and was amazing. We also got the butter beans on the side - they are dripping with bacon and bacon fat, how can you beat that? We sat at the bar and never had to worry about service but they also weren’t hovering. I’ll be here very often from now on as the prices aren’t bad either. Two people, an appetizer, two entrees and four drinks 100. Seriously, please visit this place if you want to have one of the best meals in a long time. Only thing to note is that it’s not a huge restaurant, seats around 50 people max so you may have to wait for a table but I promise it’s so worth it. ”
